About the Project
This project consists of a new Station Complex located on 50 acres in Kingsville, TX. The complex includes a new 50,000sf office and detention center for over 300 agents, a new vehicle maintenance facility, a facility maintenance facility, a fuel station, a vehicle wash facility, warehouse storage, impound lot, and a dog kennel facility to house 38 dogs.
The project includes full HVAC (Chill Water, Hot Water System), plumbing systems (Domestic water, sanitary sewer, oil and sand separators), fuel systems, Lighting, Power, Energy Management Controls, Public Address System, Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler System, secured electronics, CCTV, as well as Communication systems (Horizontal Cable Distribution), Smoke Control System, Cable TV, and lighting protection. Emergency generators and UPS systems are designed to support operational needs as well as support the life safety systems of the building.
This project was designed and awarded a LEED Silver rating with 59 points and included features such as Increased Energy Efficiency, Indoor Air Quality Monitoring, Water Efficient plumbing fixtures, Energy Saving lighting, 100kw Solar System, and Building Lighting Controls.
