About the Project

This project consists of a new 110,000 square-foot three-story academic building in Laredo, TX for Laredo Community College.  Building spaces included classrooms, computer labs, an indoor fitness area with kinesiology and cardo labs, lecture halls, server rooms and IT closets, faculty offices, conference rooms, academic gathering spaces, as well as common use spaces.

 

The project includes full HVAC (Chill Water System), plumbing systems (Domestic water and sanitary sewer), Lighting, Lighting Controls, Power, Energy Management Controls, Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler System, secured electronics, CCTV, as well as Communication systems (Horizontal Cable Distribution), Cable TV, and lighting protection.  This project involved the rerouting of an existing overhead electric utility line underground to avoid visual obstruction of the building.
